WAB collaborates with TRREE
The West African Bioethics Training Program (WAB) has collaborated with Training and Resources in Research Ethics Evaluation (TRREE) as its Nigerian partner for coordinating online ethics program for Nigerian users. TRREE is supported by the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) and the objective of the program is to develop electronic training – both web and CD based – in research ethics for African countries.
The WAB-TRREE collaboration was launched in October 2013 and the modules offered include:
- Introduction to research
- Research ethics evaluation
- Informed consent
- Good clinical practice
- HIV vaccine trials
- The Nigerian module; for individuals who will be carrying out their research work in Nigeria.
