Applications for the second cohort of The Hastings Center’s Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Global Bioethics Mentorship Program are now open.
This program offers a one-year remote opportunity for project-focused mentorship for early-career bioethics researchers in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
Seven Hastings Center Fellows are serving as mentors to our inaugural cohort of SNF Scholars, who are based in South Africa, Uganda, Kenya, India, and Ukraine.
(Look for the mentor application this fall!) We also offer workshops and facilitated discussions to foster peer learning and community-building among SNF Scholars.
This vibrant program nurtures and connects the next generation of bioethics researchers globally. It has already become a key platform for scholars from LMICs to explore cutting-edge issues, such as rapid integration of AI into human research.
Fellows can contribute to this program by sharing the application link below with potential applicants in LMICs and by applying to become a mentor; we’ll share more information for potential mentors in the fall.
Application deadline for 2026-27 SNF Scholars: August 3.
