Announcing New Course “Essentials of Statistical Analysis (EOSA)”

The Center for Bioethics and Research in partnership with Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) is happy to announce a new course “Essentials of Statistical Analysis (EOSA)’’

An awareness of the importance of statistical analysis helps researchers, students and administrators to adopt a proper methods to collect data, employ the correct analyses, and effectively present the results. Statistics is a very crucial process behind how we make discoveries in science, make decisions based on data, and make predictions.

This course provides students, clinical research coordinators, basic research faculty, research team members, Institutional Review Board (IRB) members and administrators foundational review of statistical analysis principles and methodologies. In addition EOSA provides students interested in social or biomedical sciences research with the requisite foundational knowledge as they begin, or work through a statistical analysis course at their various universities.
