The Medical Research Foundation has announced funding for the Meade Collaboration Travel Grants in Epidemiology. Funding is available for mid-career researchers in sub-Saharan Africa working in epidemiology to develop collaborations with researchers based at a UK research organisation.

Researchers should aim to advance epidemiological skills, develop or advance collaborations and networks, transfer expertise, or undertake a short project which could not be completed at their employing organisation in SSA. The proposed work should complement the applicant’s current or planned research but represent a clear and distinct development.
Applicants may apply for funding for a visit to a UK research organisation for between one to three months. Applicants may apply for up to £5,000 for one month, £9,000 for two, and a maximum of £13,000 for three months.
