Funding Opportunity for Collaboration Travel Grants in Epidemiology

Medical Research Foundation

The Medical Research Foundation has announced funding for the Meade Collaboration Travel Grants in Epidemiology. Funding is available for mid-career researchers in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) working in epidemiology to develop collaborations with researchers based at a UK research organisation.

The funding competition is now open, and details can be found on the website.

Researchers should aim to advance epidemiological skills, develop or advance collaborations and networks, transfer expertise, or undertake a short project which could not be completed at their employing organisation in SSA. The proposed work should complement the applicant’s current or planned research but represent a clear and distinct development.

Applicants may apply for funding for a visit to a UK research organisation for between one to three months. Applicants may apply for up to £5,000 for one month, £9,000 for two and a maximum of £13,000 for three months.

To apply, please see the guidelines for applicants and our online grants management system on the website.  Any queries should be sent to: research@medicalresearchfoundation.org.uk
