Rasheed O. Taiwo is a Research Associate at the Center for Bioethics and Research (CBR), Ibadan, Nigeria. He is an educational, social science, behavioral and biomedical researcher with extensive trainings in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and Bioethics.

He has interests and practical experience in research capacity development, manpower training, educational measurement, programme evaluation, research design, Bioethics and genomics research. He has expertise in research operational skills, professional development skills, data analysis, as well as in ethical legal and social implications (ELSI) of genomic research.

Currently, he coordinates several NIH-funded CBR training programs, including the diploma program in research ethics and the online ethics training for members of ethics committees reviewing genomics research in Africa. He also has responsibilities for the fully-funded M.Sc in Bioethics program at the University of Ibadan, Ibadan as well as the CBR CITI online training program. Rasheed is a member of H3Africa Study Coordinators, Ethics and Community Engagement, and Education and Coordinated Training Working Groups.
