Arrow Young Investigator Award (YIA) Special CompetitionsThe YIA provides research funding to promising physicians to support the transition from final years of training to faculty appointment and to encourage and promote quality research in clinical oncology.

Arrow Career Development Award (CDA) for Diversity and Inclusion in Breast Cancer ResearchThe CDA for Diversity and Inclusion in Breast Cancer Research provides funding for breast cancer research to clinical investigators who have received their initial faculty appointment and identify as members of racial and/or ethnic groups traditionally excluded in academic medicine and biomedical research. Applications are due March 13, 2025, by 11:59 PM (ET).

Arrow Medical Oncology In-Training Examination (ITE)Registration for the 2025 ITE is now open! The ITE is a case-based, multiple-choice exam taken by trainees and designed for self-evaluation and training program improvement. The 2025 exam will take place virtually or in-person on February 25 and 26. Register by January 17, 2025!

Arrow Virtual Mentoring Program (VMP)Apply now for the VMP! This year-long program will pair you with a mentor outside of your institution who can help you navigate career challenges and enable you to grow personally and professionally. Mentorships are available for a variety of career levels and needs, including practicing oncologists, populations underrepresented in medicine, women in oncology, and trainees. Applications are due January 24, 2025.

Arrow Medical Student Rotation for Underrepresented Populations (MSR)The MSR provides financial support for U.S. medical students who identify as underrepresented in medicine and are interested in oncology as a career to experience a minimum four-week mentored clinical or clinical research rotation. Applications are due January 27, 2025.

ArrowAbstract Forum for Medical Students & Residents at the ASCO Annual MeetingMedical Students and Residents, submit your abstract for the opportunity to present your oncology-related research in an intimate venue. Connect with peers and receive feedback on your presentation skills from oncologists and trainees. This is a separate event from the main Annual Meeting abstract presentation and has a separate submission process. Submissions are due January 27, 2025.

• Annual Meeting Research Award (AMRA) is a supplemental award for ASCO’s Medical Student and Resident Abstract Forum presenters who identify as underrepresented in medicine and have high-ranking abstracts. Apply as part of your Abstract Forum submission.
