Dr. OLAYINKA R EYELADE earned MBBS and FWACS in University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria and University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria in year 1990 and year 2000 respectively. She received a scholarship from the United States National Institute of Health (NIH) sponsored Master of Science in Surgery (Bioethics), University of Ibadan, Ibadan through the West Africa Bioethics Training program in year 2007 and she was awarded MSc after she completed the program in 2010. Dr. Olayinka R Eyelade had her resident training in Anaesthesia, in University College Hospital, Ibadan. She was appointed as a lecturer in  year 2001 as Lecturer 1 / Consultant in the dept. of Anaesthesia, University of Ibadan and UCH,  Ibadan .She became a Senior Lecturer / Consultant in Oct. 2009  at the dept. of Anaesthesia, University of Ibadan and UCH, Ibadan and later became a Reader / Consultant in Oct. 2014         in the dept. of Anaesthesia, University of Ibadan and UCH, ,Ibadan. Dr. Olayinka Eyelade’ recent research has focused on outcome of anaesthesia in adult patients, paediatric anaesthesia, and research ethics. She is a course coordinator of the ‘Informed Consent and Management of Research Ethics Committees’ Module of the MSc program in Bioethics, Department of Surgery, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She believes her background as a Consultant Anaesthetist and her experience and training in research ethics is an added advantage that would be of value to her as a Faculty on the West African Bioethics Training Centre.
